About Us
Jain College of Engineering & Research (JCER), Belagavi was established in 2018 under the Jain Group of Institutions, Bengaluru.
JCER is approved by AICTE and UGC and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
JCER is among the youngest colleges in Karnataka to have received NBA accreditation for its Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering programs.
The campus is spread across 3 acres in Udyambag, Belagavi, equipped with modern facilities including labs for AI & ML, Data Science, 3D Printing, VLSI, DSP, CAD/CAM, and more.
JCER is home to more than 1800 students and over 60 highly qualified faculty members.
JCER offers 05 Undergraduate programmes viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), and 01 Postgraduate programme – MBA.
In 2024, JCER was recognized as a VTU Research Centre for Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
JCER has active collaborations with industries and organizes regular webinars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
